Pregnant women
Our priority is always the safety of you and your baby. To avoid risks to you and your baby, we recommend that all pregnant women consult a doctor before booking their ticket to confirm/infirm their medical suitability to fly, depending on the duration of their intended journey.
Pregnant women who are up to 35 weeks pregnant can travel without a medical certificate. A form must be completed at the airport stating that the passenger is less than 35 weeks pregnant.
Pregnant women who are between 35 and 38 weeks pregnant may travel only if they present a medical certificate issued no more than 10 (ten) days before the date of each flight, which must include: the expected date of birth, confirmation that the pregnancy is without complications, the full name and telephone number of the doctor and the fact that the passenger is able to travel by air on the date and flight for which the reservation was made.
The obligation to present the above documents proving entitlement to travel rests solely with the passenger. Passengers with multiple pregnancies (twins or triplets) may fly on our aircraft for up to 28 weeks. If the pregnancy is between 28 and 32 weeks, then a medical report is required.
If the passenger has an uncomplicated pregnancy, she is not allowed to fly after the 38th week. If the passenger has an uncomplicated multiple pregnancy, she is not allowed to fly after the 32nd week. In the absence of a medical certificate, FlyLili reserves the right to refuse to board the passenger.
For departures originating from Romania, the medical certificate must be in Romanian, and for departures from other countries to Romania, the medical certificate should be translated into the local language.
